The high peaks of the southern Ortler group have been a popular ski touring area for decades. The legendary Branca Hut is situated in the middle of a magnificent panorama. There are not many huts in the Alps that offer such an extensive range of touring opportunities right on their doorstep.
We'll start the week of with a dream tour.
The 3.503 m high Sustenhorn is the centerpiece of the Sustenpass and the run to the Tierberglihütte is pure enjoyment.
After many traverses and peaks we will end the week with the longest ski run in the Alps.
The Wildspitze is not only the highest but also one of the most beautiful skitours in Tyrol.

Ski Touring at the franco-italian border on both sides of the Col de Larche. Our little hotel by the name “Osteria della Pace” is known for excellent Slow-Food cuisine and central starting point for ski touring.
The Haute Route takes us along the original trail of the first climbers from Chamonix to Zermatt. Breathtaking passages and long daily stages characterize this route. Only those who have a solid physical condition and appropriate mountaineering skills should dare to approach this adventure. Of course the key passages are secured by the mountain guide.

There are not many valleys in the Alps that can offer such a varied tour choice as the Marteltal Valley. From simple and moderate firn runs to long and demanding glacier tours, everything is possible here. The Hotel Waldheim in the back of the valley spoils us with selected Slow Food specialties of the finest quality.
This challenging ski route north of the Walliser main ridge takes us along the famous four-thousand-meter peaks such as Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn and Obergabelhorn.

The Lechtal is one of the most untouched alpine valleys and offers a wide range of ski touring with very different characters. Gentle slopes and alpine meadows are ideal terrain, particularly at the first part of the winter, and when the snow has settled well during the season, you can tackle the steeper peaks. Many of the routes are very suitable for beginners and connoisseurs, just right for a gentle start into the ski touring season.
