Technical and physical requirements

Ski technique: Stemmbogen or parallel turn, terrain mainly below 30° (red slope), spitzkehren technique in the ascent on ski tours is not yet expected.
Alpine technique: No challenge, glacier-free terrain, peaks below 3000m, no experience with avalanche transceivers (avalanche transceivers).
Stamina: Up to 3 hours in the ascent, max. 300 m/h, 500 - 1000 m/day.

    Ski technique: Fluent parallel turns in most types of snow, terrain predominantly below 35° (black piste), spitzkehren technique in ascents on ski tours should be available rudimentarily.
    Alpine technique: Usually unglaciated terrain, peaks below or around 3000m, experience with the avalanche transceiver is expected.
    Stamina: Up to 5 hours in the ascent, 300 to 350 m/h, up to 1400 m/day.

    Ski technique: Parallel and short turns in almost all types of snow, skiing from steep terrain over 35° (e.g. also steeper gullies), safe spitzkehren technique in the ascent on ski tours.
    Alpine technique: Possibly glaciated terrain, summits over 3000m possible, alpine touring equipment may be required, stretches of up to 40° (skis on rucksack), possible use of crampons, experience with the avalanche transceiver is expected.
    Stamina: Up to 5 - 6 hours in the ascent, 300 to 400 m/h, up to 1700 m/day.

    Ski technique: Parallel and short turns in all types of snow, skiing on steep terrain over 40° (e.g. also steeper gullies), safe spitzkehren technique when climbing up on ski tours.
    Alpine technique: High alpine, glaciated terrain, peaks over 4000 m possible, alpine touring equipment required, carrying passages up to 45° (ski on rucksack), possibly exposed terrain, short climbing passages (also using rope), safe handling of ice axe and crampons, knowledge of crevasse recovery, safe handling of avalanche beacons.
    Stamina: Over 5 hours in the ascent, 350 to 450 m/h, also over 2000 m/day possible.

    Ski technique: parallel and short turns in all types of snow, short rides on steep terrain over 45° possible (steep gullies and walls), safe technique of turning sharply when climbing up on ski tours.
    Alpine technique: High alpine, glaciated terrain, peaks over 4000 m possible, alpine touring equipment required, carrying passages up to 45° (skis on rucksack), possibly exposed terrain, possibly short climbing passages using rope, abseiling with skis, safe handling of ice axe and crampons, knowledge of crevasse recovery, safe handling of avalanche beacons.
    Stamina: 5 - 10 hours in the ascent, 350 to 450 m/h, 2500 m/day, mostly multiple up and down skins necessary, haute routes.
